Book a break at The Smile Centre:

Becoming a Friend of the Smile Centre

Our new short-break respite care centre for children with severe disabilities and their families is now open!

The support we have received since our appeal began more than four years ago has been phenomenal. We are very excited to now  be in a position to welcome families from across the region.

Our challenge now is to build a sustainable fundraising programme working with our supporters and members of the communities we serve, to raise the income we need to cover the new facility’s running costs. Could you help us with this important task?

We are looking to form a “Friends of the Smile Centre” committee group, with volunteer members who can help run income-generating activities throughout the year. Activities and events might include dinners, open gardens, fairs, quizzes or balls. The Smile Centre manager and fundraising team at Smile will be on hand to assist the committee and give lots of advice and encouragement.

By becoming a Friend, members can expect to learn new skills and meet new people, whilst helping to ensure the longevity of our wonderful new building which will benefit countless young people from across the region. Come along to find out more over drinks and nibbles at the Smile Centre on Wednesday 20 April at 6pm. Please RSVP theresa.elliott@smilesupport.org.uk here or call 02380 613084

We would love to hear from you if you are interested in this exciting opportunity!
